Vivitar 285HV Plastic Shoe Replacement
The Vivitar 285HV has a plastic single pin hot shoe. It breaks very easily. We suggest changing the plastic shoe when they chip or crack, or if you contemplate using Pocket Wizards. One of the main reason for changing is that the sync cord from Vivitar is proprietary. The metal foot as shown has a HD synch connection.
